Chinese mesh-grade Q195 wire rod for July shipment is being offered at $465-470 per tonne CFR Manila, with minimal transactions recorded. The SAE 1008/Q195 wire rod market also saw stable pricing at $460-465 per tonne CFR Manila. In Vietnam, suppliers invited bids for Chinese SAE 1008/Q195 wire rod at $455-456 per tonne CFR, slightly below the offered price of $457 per tonne CFR.
In Thailand, the highest bid for Chinese boron-added Q195 wire rod stood at $470 per tonne CFR for August shipment, against an offer of $476 per tonne CFR. Indonesia’s Dexin Steel lowered its September-shipment wire rod export prices by $10 per tonne to $505 per tonne FOB.
Singapore’s rebar market softened slightly, with Malaysian theoretical-weight rebar for July delivery offered at $460-465 per tonne DAP. Chinese rebar offers remained steady at $470-475 per tonne CFR Singapore, though some traders indicated suppliers might accept $465 per tonne CFR. Hong Kong’s rebar market also saw stable pricing at $460-465 per tonne CFR, with no deals reported.
