ArcelorMittal Spain is developing a new distribution center at its former beam production site in Villaverde, Madrid. The facility aims to become a strategic hub for steel distribution, long product processing, and recycling.
Covering 26,300 square meters, with 20,000 square meters under roof, the center will consolidate services previously handled at Getafe and Coslada locations. It will feature advanced processing equipment, including cutting saws, drilling stations, oxy-cutting tables, and a shot blasting and painting installation.
The facility will be built using ArcelorMittal’s XCarb steel and will integrate sustainability measures such as solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations. Operations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
