ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steelmaker, has increased the prices of hot-rolled coils (HRC) in Europe by €40 per ton, bringing the new base price to €590 per ton. This price adjustment reflects the company’s firm stance on current market levels, with all offers below this threshold being withdrawn.
The price hike is influenced by rising raw material costs and recent economic stimulus measures in China, which have bolstered market conditions. Other steel producers, such as NLMK La Louviere, have also raised their prices in response to these market dynamics.
