ArcelorMittal Eisenhüttenstadt will carry out its annual scheduled maintenance on blast furnace 5A starting June 22, 2025. The repair will involve a temporary shutdown lasting several hours, with operations expected to resume between June 27 and 28.
The blast furnace, which has an annual production capacity of 1.7 million tonnes, may cause increased dust and noise emissions during the shutdown and restart phases. The maintenance is part of the company’s routine efforts to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
