ArcelorMittal Brazil Expands Long Steel Production Range

ArcelorMittal has expanded its portfolio of long products in the Brazilian market. The steelmaker has developed its special welded mesh by adding the new 1045+ and TF18L steel ranges to its production line. With the investment, the company aims to improve supplies for civil construction and general industry, ArcelorMittal tells Kallanish.

"We develop solutions with a focus on performance improvement. The new products were approved after technical evaluation and testing to ensure they meet the specific demands of our customers," said Paula Couri, Director of Marketing and Products at ArcelorMittal.

The 1045+ and TF18L steel grades are designed to enhance the durability and strength of welded mesh applications. This expansion of ArcelorMittal's long steel offerings is part of the company's strategy to provide a more comprehensive product portfolio to better serve the evolving needs of the Brazilian market.

By adding these new steel ranges, ArcelorMittal is positioning itself to capture growing demand in the civil construction and industrial sectors, where performance and reliability of materials are crucial factors. The investment underscores the steelmaker's commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving requirements of its customer base in Brazil.
