Al Ghurair Iron & Steel (AGIS), an Abu Dhabi-based cold rolling and galvanizing company, has embarked on enhancing the digital transformation of its plant maintenance operations. The company has signed a five-year total maintenance partnership (TMP) with Quant Gulf, a Swedish industrial maintenance firm, effective from May 1, 2024.

Under this partnership, Quant Gulf will assume full responsibility for maintenance management and execution at AGIS's site in the United Arab Emirates. This move aims to leverage Quant's expertise in smart maintenance solutions to drive operational efficiency and productivity at AGIS's plant.

By outsourcing its maintenance operations to Quant Gulf, AGIS seeks to benefit from the Swedish company's advanced digital technologies, data-driven insights, and industry best practices.

The partnership aligns with AGIS's strategic goals of optimizing asset performance, reducing downtime, and enhancing overall operational excellence through digitalization and smart maintenance practices.
