ArcelorMittal Poland has announced plans to construct a hydrogen production plant at its Krakow site in collaboration with Linde Gaz Polska. The new facility, which represents an investment of over PLN 100 million, will produce hydrogen from natural gas to supply two galvanizing plants.
This initiative is part of ArcelorMittal’s broader strategy to enhance sustainability and reduce environmental impact. The hydrogen plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2026, marking a significant step towards decarbonizing the company’s operations.
