Italian Scrap Import Contracts Flatten, Demand Low

Prices of scrap import transactions into Italy from other European countries are showing signs of leveling off or experiencing slight declines. Some grades have seen a reduction of €5 per tonne. Additionally, Italian domestic scrap prices have decreased by €25 per tonne on average compared to the previous month. This trend is primarily due to local mills’ extended summer shutdowns and weak sales of finished products
