JSW Steel USA, a subsidiary of Indian steelmaker JSW Steel, has announced plans to invest $110 million to modernize its steel plate mill in Baytown, Texas. The investment aims to upgrade the facility with sustainable and modern manufacturing equipment, positioning it to produce high-quality monopile steel for wind towers.
The modernization project aligns with JSW Steel USA's long-term environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Parth Jindal, Director of JSW Steel USA, emphasized that the upgrades support the company's commitment to sustainability and contribute to its broader ESG priorities.
