The rebar market in Saudi Arabia experienced a modest price increase of 2.3% during the first four months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics.
The average price per ton of rebar from January to April 2025 stood at approximately 2,951.14 riyals, up from 2,883.40 riyals during the same months in 2024. The price difference ranged between 50 and 80 riyals per ton.
Despite the increase over the previous year, rebar prices remained relatively stable on a monthly basis, with only minor fluctuations observed between January and April. In January, the price per ton reached 2,961.57 riyals, marking a 2.9% increase from the same month in 2024. February saw a 2.6% rise, while March registered a 2.1% increase. The smallest price change occurred in April, with a 1.8% rise compared to the previous year.
The price trends highlight steady demand and controlled market conditions, indicating a stable outlook for the Saudi rebar sector as the year progresses. Industry observers are closely monitoring developments to assess potential shifts in pricing and demand dynamics.
