Al Gioshy Steel Group has finalized agreements to export over 50,000 tons of rebar to Libya and Sudan, supporting reconstruction efforts in both countries. CEO Islam Al Gioshy stated that the company currently dedicates 20% of its production to exports, with plans to increase this to 40% by the end of 2025. He emphasized the competitiveness of Egyptian rebar in regional markets and called for greater government support to help achieve Egypt’s broader export target of $100 billion annually.
