Market participants have expressed concerns about the potential for downward price pressure in the coming weeks. However, German mills remain confident, citing low material availability and reliance on new rollings to fulfill orders.
Some observers believe that recent mergers, such as Badische Stahlwerke's acquisition of Van Merkensteijn, may lead to shifts in production focus, potentially impacting rebar availability.
