Thailand-based steelmaker G J Steel Public Company Limited has announced that it will provide services to local steelmaker G Steel Public Company Limited. G J Steel will conduct inspections and flattening of coils and other services to address problems affecting G Steel's Hot Rolled Coil (HRC).
G J Steel will process up to 30,000 metric tons of HRC for G Steel using its skin pass facility, with a total service fee of THB 9.48 million ($191,448). The service is expected to help G J Steel improve its capacity utilization and reduce the idle cost of its skin pass facility. The service will be provided until July 2025.
